Lemon and Herb Chicken Brine

Ingredients

  • 1 Gallon Water
  • 1/2 Cup Kosher Salt
  • 2/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Lemons, sliced
  • 2 Sprigs Rosemary
  • 1 Sprig Sage

Instructions

  1. Bring ingredients to boil and simmer for at least 5 minutes.



  2. Allow brine to cool completely. Submerge chicken in brine and place in the refrigerator for
    8-24 hours.
