Today’s post is a feminine and floral dress that I purchased from Free People! I love anything flowy, especially with a peek-a-boo back, so when I went shopping on my birthday and saw this – I knew I had to have it!

My good friend + photographer, Bekah, trekked up the snowy mountains with me for this shoot after I had my makeup done by Alanna – one of the most talented girls I know. We all had so much fun with this one! I’m sure everyone around me thought that I was absolutely insane for wearing thigh high boots in the mountains, and I was shivering the entire time, but it was all worth it!

I’ve started to invest more money in pieces that I absolutely love. I found myself purchasing relatively cheap clothing that would shrink or fall apart within months. I decided to start saving up the money that I would spend on those 5 cheaper pieces to buy one really great item that would last years. I have a feeling that this is one of those dresses that will stay with me for a while!
