Anthropologie Denim Romper & Summer Adventures

My stepsister, Tish, is a creative in every form of the word. She’s a photographer, a home designer, a plant curator and so much more. I learn something new from her every time we hang out; I love people like that.

She loves others so well. She’s one of those people who doesn’t give up on relationships, no matter how challenging they might get at times (and we’ve been through our fair share of ups and downs.)

She is always reminding me about how important it is to really dig in, to talk about the hard stuff and to always rejoice in the good.

This weekend we decided to explore our city a little bit and we visited an area that neither of us had been to before. It’s right across from the Albuquerque Zoo and it has such an eclectic, fun feel to it with the white stucco, bright blue accents and seemingly hole-in-the-wall shops.

We went to a cute little cactus store, Southwest Cactus, and Tish bought a hanging plant with the goal of supporting the owner since they’re both in the same line of work. I loved that! I’m all about women having the courage and willingness to cheer one another on, especially when they’re pursuing the same goals.

Love wins over competition, always!

I recently purchased a tie-front denim romper from Anthropologie which I have fallen in love with and I wanted to share it with you guys! I paired the romper with my new favorite pearl hoop earrings, a hair scarf (I’m obsessed with these this season), a lace bralette and an ark bamboo handbag. I love the 1950’s vibe of it all.

My friend of over 16 years, Arianna (how has that much time gone by?!) designed and created these earrings. I saw them in one of her posts and told her that I had to have them! She creates gorgeous fashion accessories, hair clips, hair bows, wedding headpieces and more.

I’m also loving these sunnies! I get nearly all of my sunglasses from Target or Francesca’s because I break and lose sunglasses like you wouldn’t believe. My two other favorite places to shop for sunglasses are DIFF Eyewear and Quay!

I hope you all have a Happy 4th of July!
