Whipped Coffee has taken the Tik Tok world by storm – and for good reason! This coffee is pillowy, perfectly flavorful, it has just the right combination of coffee and milk and, of course, it looks super pretty! 

The first time I made this, I was surprised at how easy it was! I highly recommend using an electric mixer to expedite the process, if you can. 

This trendy Whipped Coffee is also known as ‘Dalgona Coffee’ and has been a popular drink in countries like Korea, Pakistan and India far before social media discovered it. 

The actual origin of the coffee is actually a pretty controversial topic – so we won’t get into that. But feel free to research it if you want to learn something new!

The best part about this Coronavirus sensation is that it only takes a few ingredients that you likely already have on hand!

The only ingredients that you will need for this whipped coffee recipe are: Instant coffee, cane sugar and milk. You can add some flavored creamer if you prefer!  


I didn’t used to crave coffee (I honestly didn’t like it very much) until I had kids. They changed the game for me. 😉 I have grown to love making coffee, but even more, I love creating new drinks for my husband. 

Fun fact: My husband, Jesse, and nearly all of his family members have worked at Starbucks at one point in their lives. It created a great affinity for coffee and making drinks for one another is one of our favorite things to do! 

How to Make Whipped Coffee (Dalgona Coffee)
Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp. Instant Coffee
  • 2 Tbsp. Cane Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. Hot Water
  • Ice
  • Milk to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Flavored Creamer to taste
  • 1 tsp. Raw Sugar (Optional - I like the crunch!)
Instructions
  1. Add instant coffee, sugar, cinnamon and hot water to mixing bowl.

  2. Add ice and milk (or cream) to glass.

  3. Use electric hand mixer to whip up the coffee mixture until it is light and fluffy.

  4. To serve, spoon whipped coffee over milk and stir. Sprinkle with cinnamon and raw sugar.

  5. Enjoy!
